Syrup Sponge Pudding
1 litre pudding bowl
75g golden syrup
100g caster sugar
100g Doves Farm Gluten Free Self Raising Flour.
30ml 2(tbs) milk
Fill the steam water tank.
Grease the bowl and place syrup in it. Cream together the margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs gradually. Fold in the flour and mix to a soft consistency with the milk. Spoon the mixture over the syrup.
Place on the base of the oven and cook on Steam Medium for 8 minutes. Leave to cool slightly before upturning the bowl onto a serving plate.
